Denmark - Ødis School
Northern Irland - Gracehill Primary School
Gracehill Primary School is a large school situated in the historic village of Gracehill. It has pupils ranging in age from 3 years to 11years. The youngest children attend the nursery unit while in the senior school there are 14 classes divided across 7 year groups.
The school attracts pupils from the village and from housing developments on this side of Ballymena which is the largest nearby town.
The school is located in a modern building which the pupils moved into in May 2000. There are two large playgrounds – one of which has purpose built play area. It also has very attractive green spaces which include the school’s own garden and its own small football pitch.

Holland - De Vonkenmorgen
De Vonkenmorgen is a large school(530 pupils) in the East of Holland.
Our pupils live in a small village called Gendt.
We have 2 school-buildings; one for the age group 4 till 8 year, and one for the children from 9 till 13. We like to enjoy in the project!

In 1995 is De Vonkenmorgen started with the Maria school (girls school) and the Josef school (boys school) therefore is De Vonkenmorgen also two
buildings. It is a catholic school.De Vonkenmorgen has 20 classes divide over 8
life years. One school day is from half past eight to twelve o’clock. And from
one o’clock to a quarter past three. And Wednesday to a quarter past twelve. Our school does much things against bullying, so much as possible help to stop it. De Vonkenmorgen has each year in most of the classes a learning teacher
in theory and in gymnastic.
Our pupils live in a small village called Gendt.

Norway - Kirkeby School
Kirkeby skole is 156 years old. At school we have 340 pupils in 16 classes.
It has pupils ranging in age from 6 years to 12 years. We have an after school with 135 pupils. The school is located into different buildings, the newest one from year 1998.
Kirkeby skole is situated in rural surroundings. We have a large outdoor area where our pupils can play.We are active pupils who are walking, cycling
and playing football in the summer and do skiing activities in the winter.
Kirkeby skole is situated in Hakadal a part of the community of Nittedal. Most people who lives here works in Oslo, the capital of Norway.

Spain - CEIP Frederico Romero
Federico Romero Primary School is a modern school that was inaugurated four years ago. It is situated in the “Villa de La Solana", a historic Manchegan medieval city. La Solana has got 17,000 inhabitants and belongs to the autonomous community of Castilla la Mancha whose capital is Toledo.
It has students ranging in age from 3 to 12 years old. At the moment there are 140 students; 9 classes divided across 9 grades (3 of the pre-primary level and 6 classes of the primary level). The school opens at 7.30 am and closes at 4.00 pm. We have classes from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm with a 30 minute break. Students can have breakfast before classes start and they can also have lunch at 2.00pm in the lunch room at the school. This service can be applied for by the parents.
The school grows a garden with olive trees, a small vineyard, some almond trees, saffron roses, and local vegetables. We also have a didactic garden with different aromatic plants and autochthonous trees.
